Water park visitor's rules

We wish you safe and enjoyable time at Tervise Paradiis! To fully enjoy your memorable time in Tervise Paradiis, carefully read through these guidelines and follow them. Thank you!

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • Due to the nature of the service, the physical features of the environment, the number of users, their physical characteristics and behaviour, the water park and, in particular, the water slides descending to it present the increased risk, and it is impossible to completely eliminate the likelihood of bruises, scratches, bumps, sprains, abrasions and etc.

  • In order to increase safety, the water center employs assistant instructors that monitor compliance with safety rules. However, visitors themselves bear the main responsibility for use of the water center and any possible related damage to health and property (in case of children the accompanying adult shall bear responsibility).

  • Children aged 15 or younger are only admitted to the water center, pool and to the sauna center if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult responsible for their safety and behavior as well as for ensuring the children follow the rules set out in these guidelines.
  • Children aged 3 or younger are only admitted (free of charge) to the sauna and water center if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult and must share the adult’s locker.
  • Should you wish to, you can borrow bathrobes and towels from administrator. You will be charged for this according to the current pricelist. Make sure you take good care of any items you borrow and return them to the administrator before you leave. The fines for losing borrowed items are set out in the pricelist.
  • Make sure you observe any and all signs and notices posted in the water center. Tervise Paradiis cannot be held liable for injuries or other health issues experiences by visitors, nor is it liable to compensate such injuries of problems.
  • Mind other visitors, especially children.
  • Walk in the changing rooms, pool and water center – don’t run! Since the floors may be wet, running/hurrying could be dangerous for you and other visitors.
  • It is prohibited to bring your own drinks and food to the water center, swimming pool and sauna center. Employees of the water center have the right to seize any food and drinks brought by visitors.
  • Do not visit the water center in a state of inebriation! Staff of the water center have the right to refuse to sell tickets to persons in a state of intoxication. Remember that you personally bear any risks in connection with visiting the water center.
  • By using services of the water center, you confirm that you have familiarized yourself with these guidelines.
  • Staff of the water center have the right to prohibit any visitor who presents a danger to himself/herself or others or in any way annoys other visitors to stay in the water center.
  • Staff of the water center have the right to reprove any visitors violating these guidelines and cancel his/her ticket without compensating the ticket’s price.
  • Tervise Paradiis promotes healthy lifestyle – smoking is not permitted in the water center.
  • When leaving, return anything you’ve borrowed to the administrator – do not leave things in the changing room.
  • The water center has video surveillance system installed, except for the dressing and shower rooms.
  • If you experience any problems, please turn to an assistant instructor or the administrator.
  • Any toys that can pose danger to health of other visitors as well as non-floating toys are prohibited to take to the water center.
  • It is prohibited to use bifins and monofins in swimming pools of the water center.
  • Visitors use GoPro and other similar devices at their own risk. Make sure they are fastened in the manner that remains safe for other visitors while using water pipes, swimming pool and other features.
  • Forgotten and lost items that are found and brought to the staff are stored for two (2) months, after that the items are disposed of.

BUYING TICKETS AND PAYING FOR SERVICES

  • When buying a ticket to the water center you will receive a wristband that allows passing through doors and turngates.
  • Wear your wristband where it can be seen during the entire visit to the water center. It is prohibited for visitors to exchange their wristbands.
  • Please hold on to your ticket until you leave.
  • Visitors aged 18 and older can use their wristbands to pay for services in Aqua bar with the total price of up to 40 €.
  • When leaving the water center, please return your wristband to the administrator and pay for purchases made with the wristband.
  • If the wristband gets lost or damaged, the visitor shall compensate its price according to the current pricelist.
  • Visitors aged 18 and younger can get wristband from the administrator by making prepayment. Then the wristband can be used to pay at the water center’s Aqua bar. The balance of the account is reimbursed to visitors by the administrator (on the same day). If you lose your wristband, please immediately inform an assistant instructor.
  • Documents, money and other valuables can be deposited in a safety locker at the administrator.
  • By buying a ticket, you confirm that your health and skills allow using the water center’s attractions and that you undertake to familiarize yourself with all safety guidelines. Children are the responsibility of those accompanying them.
  • A family ticket grants admission to the water center for 2 adults and 2 children aged 15 or younger.
  • The water center’s employees have the right to ask for a document to confirm the age of the visitor.
  • Discount tickets are available to Estonian student card holders, ISIC and ITIC card holders and Estonian pensioners upon presentation of the respective card. Discount tickets can be purchased with a valid document that confirm the holder’s right for the discount.
  • Please check purchased goods, tickets and change at the ticket office. Later claims will not be accepted.

VISITING TIME

  • You can stay in the water center for 3 hours during each visit.
  • The duration of your visit is measured from the moment you enter the gates of the water center.
  • Additional fee for exceeded time is calculated based on the current pricelist.

CHANGING ROOMS

  • Please remove your shoes when entering the changing rooms or swap your shoes for flip-flops or similar footwear – that way you help keep the water center clean. You can leave your shoes in a plastic bag in your locker. When leaving, please only put your shoes back on by the door to the changing room.
  • You can choose any available locker in the changing room. Change into your swimming outfit and then lock the locker with the key. Make sure you take the key with you to the water center. You can keep hold of it by placing it round your wrist or ankle. You can open and close your locker as many times as you need.
  • Each time you close your locker, make sure it has closed and locked properly. If the door is not properly closed and/or the lock is damaged in any way, immediately inform the assistant instructor.
  • Take good care of your locker key – if you lose it, you’ll have to pay the fine set out in the price list. If you lose your key, immediately inform the assistant instructor or the administrator.
  • The Water Center is not responsible for the preservation of items/objects left in the locker (documents, money and other valuables) worth more than € 50. In case the visitor has an item/object exceeding the value of € 50 or the total value of the items/objects with the visitor exceeds € 50, the visitor is required to use a storage box located at the Water Center for storing such items/objects. The price of the rent of a storage box is € 2 according to the price list. However, if a visitor, despite the information above, keeps his or her valuables in the locker instead of a storage box, the Water Center is not responsible for the preservation of the valuables left in the locker. The locker is for holding clothes, and a storage box is for safekeeping of valuables. 
  • Before entering the water center or the swimming pool, MAKE SURE TO WASH YOURSELF without wearing a swimming outfit and remove any makeup you may have.
  • It is prohibited to shave in changing rooms and showers.
  • We recommend that you do not wear swimming outfit in the saunas. When throwing water onto the hot stones, mind other people in the sauna.
  • When coming out of the water center or having showered, make sure you dry yourself properly before entering the changing room.
  • Remember that wet floors are slippery! Do not hurry while walking in the changing room or in the shower to avoid falling and injuring yourself.
  • Please not! It may be necessary for female cleaning staff members to move around and do their job in the men’s changing room and shower room. We kindly ask for your understanding.

GUIDELINES FOR VISITORS OF WATER CENTER, SAUNA CENTER AND SWIMMING POOL

  • Traditional swimming outfits should be worn in the water center. Swimming in shorts or outfits with rivets, studs, zips and buttons is not permitted.
  • Please note that tube slides may damage your swimwear. By using a tube slide you take full responsibility for your clothing items. The water center is not liable for any damage to swimwear that may be caused by sliding.
  • To avoid any unpleasant surprises, we ask that children aged three and younger wear swimming nappies. These are sold at the ticket office.
  • Choose the pool or attraction the depth of which is best suited to your health and skills.
  • The black waterslide is fully enclosed and features special sound effects. Take your health and physical abilities into consideration before using it. It is not recommended to be used by people with epilepsy.
  • It is prohibited to run-out when entering the rides.
  • Attention! In the event of a malfunction of the signal lights near the slides (the green or red is constantly on, or the signal light is off), allow at least 40 seconds between persons going down the slide!
  • Only visitors with excellent swimming skills and understanding of dangerous situations are allowed to use the “Mountain River” slide.
  • While using the “Mountain River” slide pay attention to signs and pointers, keep your distance and mind other visitors.
  • Diving is only allowed in the big pool in the presence of an assistant instructor. The pool’s starting blocks are designed for proper sports diving only. Diving in other pools is not permitted. Dive-bombing, etc. is strictly forbidden.
  • While using slides it is strictly forbidden to move upstream or against the slide direction.
  • Keep to the right in your swimming lane and mind other swimmers sharing your lane.
  • Don’t change lanes by pushing yourself over the lane markers – swim under them. Sitting or standing in the lanes markers is not permitted.
  • Observe the lane markers in the pool – don’t swim over into lanes designed for group training.
  • If you have long hair, please tie it back or use a swimming cap.
  • If you use any of the pool’s sports equipment of flotation devices, do so responsibly and put them back in their proper place when you’re finished with them.
  • The sauna center has no manned security.
  • In the sauna center make sure you select the sauna suitable to your health.
  • While visiting sauna center drink enough water.
  • It is prohibited to jump in water in the massage pool of the sauna center.
  • It is prohibited to use honey, body scrubs and other substances that may leave stains.
  • The attraction in the water center close in 30 minutes before the official closing time of the water center.

GROUP VISIT GUIDELINES

  • There must be 1 adult for every 15 students in primary and secondary school groups.
  • The adults accompanying preschool and school groups are responsible for actions and behavior of children in the water center and for ensuring they leave at the right time.
